Amber Iler is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. She enjoys the breadth of psychiatric practice and has clinical interests in ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Amber believes meaningful psychiatric care begins with helping people feel seen, heard, and accepted. She is especially interested in understanding each person's individual experience rather than assuming a diagnosis looks or feels the same for everyone. She views treatment as a partnership, bringing her clinical knowledge together with each patient's understanding of themselves, their experiences, and what they hope to change.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and brings a clinical background in neurological nursing and caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, which continues to shape her individualized approach to care.
Patients working with Amber can expect a supportive partnership focused on how they experience their everyday lives. Her goal is to help each patient feel better, function better day to day, and have more opportunity to enjoy the people, experiences, and things that matter to them.
